Great instructions. Thank you
Bom
Thank you for showing this simply and clearly.
at the very least, show us what the end result is!
Do we knit this in round
You are very clear!
I love this cast on! It's the only one I don't fumble with or have to keep referring to the video to even get close to how it's supposed to be done. For a bonus, I can also give it a good tension instead of ending up with death-hold stitches.
M1LP and M1RP please
Can't get the written pattern, says not working? Please
I found this stitch was very tight and stiff, I think I will try it on larger needles because I do like the stitch. Thanks for sharing it.
Did you add the same amount of stitches than you casted off in the previous row?
I count the stitches some rows are 15 and other 16 since I’m knitting in round do I need to add the plus one? I a little confused . Why do you need the extra stitch is it for edging? Please help . Thanks
If I knit in round I’ll not needy the plus one right. Thanks
Do I only need to plus 1 only on last row makes it 16 stitches ? all other rows the others rows will be 15 stitches only right? Thanks
thank you!
Thank you. Your tutorial is easy to follow.
thank you very much, been using a slip knots to start the knit for years!
Get rid of the music, please
Thanks! Banging video quality for being 11 years old 😁😁
Thanks for the helpful instructions. May I suggest using a light color or contrasting color for the yarn?
Thank you so much for this tutorial, you were very straightforward and very helpful.
Thanks for a clear and helpful video.
The page for free sweater guide is not available for download
As an experienced knitter, this is an utterly inadequate tutorial. Actually USE the stitch markers, don't just talk about where to put them. Show more of the progression of the mitered corner - you're only starting with 15 stitches for goodness sake! There's no reason you couldn't have shown more of this, especially how to work the last few rows of the corner. You also don't talk at all about how a mitered corner can be used in a project. I would hope your other videos aren't as limited in this one. Knitters are looking for actual helpfulness in understanding a stitch/technique, not the absolute bare minimum of someone who basically decided to 'phone it in' and do the minimum possible instruction.
Excellent video; thank you so much. And i found what you were demonstrating easy to see with the dark yarn ❤
I got it to work with a foundation chain of 4+2. If you add 3 and then sc in 2nd chain from the hook you'll always end up with that extra chain. (Yes I know that the loop on the hook doesn't count.) I had to draw out the pattern to see that +3 was never going to work.
This is the Suzette stitch
this was super clear and your explanations were very easy to understand, thank you! going to attempt filet crochet and this stitch seems to be common with that 😂
Too complicated!
This is a nice pattern for table cloth.
What size are the needles
Tip for you just ch 2 instead of ch3 , ch2 at the beginning of the row has the same height as the dc. with ch3 you'll have a gap even when you crochet over it
Should I join at each round when making a sock?
Worst video I have seen. His instructions do not make since. He makes mistakes, corrects them. Very confussing. Needs to show more than 1 row of knitting. Need to see pattern form.
I used to cast on with this method. But, that was long ago…
Very Helpful, thanks so much.
Sorry to be a plank!!! Do I need to add 2 extras stitches to a pattern to work a selvedge
Thank you
Thank you!!!
Would this be quite stiff for a blanket
Thanks!
Excellent, very clear and great speed for this technique for purposes of instruction. Thank you!
Row 4...doesn't add up.
Can you use a magic circle instead of a chain ring?
How would you decrease stitches while keeping the mesh pattern? Do you sitch 2 diamond together?
The phraseology should be altered as you don’t make five only four. Also it’s erroneous to class this as an advanced technique, as it’s very easy to learn and execute
Thank you so much for this video, I couldn't figure this cast on out until I saw it done left handed!!
Thank you ❤❤
And how are the stitches done on the WS when going back? I am making a flat baby blanket that uses the stitch almost as a border to a cable. Excellent explanation. Just need to finish out by how to knit them on both sides of project. THANKS!
why would you start the tutorial on the 3rd row and not the first?
